Richard Franks for Mayor of Gastonia

I am running to be Your next Mayor of Gastonia!

Fellow Residents of Gastonia,

It is an honor and privilege to have the opportunity to represent the citizens of Gastonia as the next Mayor of Gastonia.
My core principles in seeking office are as follows:

  • PUBLIC SAFETY
  • LOWER TAXES
  • RESPONSIBLE SPENDING
  • UNWAVERING LAW ENFORCEMENT SUPPORT
  • VOICE FOR FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY
  • VOICE FOR OUR VETERANS
  • MUCH NEEDED CHANGE

Last spring, I watched as our current city council ignored your pleas, raising taxes in these tough times, and failing to cut frivolous, wasteful spending. As a fiscal conservative, I am committed to making our budget transparent, ensuring that you know where your money goes. I believe in a Gastonia where your voice matters.

I am also a strong supporter of our dedicated law enforcement officers and will advocate for higher salaries for our city police. They work tirelessly to keep us safe, and they deserve fair compensation.

I am here to represent your interests and bring responsible financial management to our community. Together, we can create a Gastonia we can all be proud of. Your support is essential!

I look forward to seeing you at the polls! Together, we can build a brighter future!

“Gastonia deserves better. Richard Franks is the solution. A fiscal conservative, he will work to lower property taxes and end wasteful spending. Unlike the current leadership, he wants to make Gastonia more affordable. Richard is also a strong ally of law enforcement, making our city safer. Let’s join Richard Franks for a stronger Gastonia!” -RF
